Pounded yam is generally served with Nigerian soups like egusi and okro.
In a small pot, add water and heat to boiling. Add 2 cups of pounded yam flour to the water
Use a wooden spoon to stir the yam powder till it becomes smooth and thick. Add small amounts of water while stirring to keep the yam soft.
Spoon the pounded yam into a flat dinner plate and form a small round mound on the plate.
